Overview

FY 2010 USAP Research Support Facilities Survey

The Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) Survey pertains to the United States Antarctic Program (USAP) support facilities that are directly related to the successful accomplishment of your scientific research. The survey is used by the National Science Foundation Office of Polar Programs (NSF/OPP) in its annual performance plan report for the GPRA, which is a factor in establishing legislative funding for future scientific research.

This survey applies to projects funded during Fiscal Year (FY) 2010, which is October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010.

Guidelines for completing the survey:

  • Submit a survey only if you (the Principal Investigator), or one or more of your team members deployed, or your instruments were deployed and received support in Antarctica.
  • Do not fill out the survey until all of your supported days within FY 2010 have passed.
  • Submit a separate survey for each Antarctic location at which support was provided.
  • Before taking the survey, please read the Welcome Letter from the NSF/OPP Science GPRA Coordinator.
